Dr. Valery Vinzent Wittwer joined the EyeLaser Zurich team in 2024. He specializes in lens surgery and performs refractive lens exchange at our clinic.
Dr. med. Myron Kynigopoulos is an ophthalmologist and eye surgeon, FEBO. At EyeLaser Zurich he performs cataract and lens surgery.
Prices start at CHF 1’500 per eye (Trans-PRK); SmartSight costs CHF 2’500 per eye. As it is an elective procedure, basic health insurance usually does not pay. Many patients use our instalment plan, interest-free over six months. In the long run, laser eye surgery is often cheaper than years of contact lenses and glasses.
With modern methods such as Femto-LASIK or SmartSight, you can often return to office work the next day. Sport is usually possible again after a few days. We plan the procedure so that you have hardly any downtime.

Thanks to our 7D eye tracking (Schwind Amaris technology), the procedure is very safe. The laser reacts within milliseconds to every eye movement. Blinking is impossible because a small holder keeps the eye open, largely painless thanks to anaesthetic drops.
Absolutely. From around 45, the best solution is often no longer the laser but a lens exchange (multifocal lenses). This allows us to correct your presbyopia permanently, so that you need neither distance nor reading glasses.
