The principle: Keyhole instead of large incision

What happens if I sneeze or wiggle during the surgery?

Nothing. The SmartSight technology gently suctions onto the eye (“docking”). The eye cannot slip. If the movement is too strong, the laser switches off automatically.

How long will I be unable to work?

Plan 1-2 days. If you come on Friday, you will be fully operational in the office again on Monday. Home office is often possible after 24 hours.

Do I feel the cut?

No. The eye is numbed by drops. You will only feel a slight pressure for about 20 seconds when the laser docks.

Why is EyeLaser more expensive than a chain abroad?

You will feel a burning or tearing for about 3-4 hours. After that, the eye is calm. Real pain is extremely rare.

Am I allowed to use make-up?

Please no eye make-up (mascara/eyeliner) for 3 days to avoid particles in the eye.

Are there long-term studies?
