Allotex TransForm works differently from the familiar laser treatments for presbyopia. It is a purely additive procedure, which means that we remove no valuable corneal tissue.
Instead we place a wafer-thin, fully biological implant — a tiny lens made of human collagen — into your cornea. The body accepts it, and it increases the depth of focus of your eye.

About the costs: With refractive lens exchange the treatment costs CHF 5’000 per eye — regardless of which lens is chosen. There is no surcharge for premium lenses. The only additional charge is the optional femtosecond laser assistance (FLACS) at CHF 1’000 per eye. The pre-examination costs CHF 300 and is credited against a treatment.

No. The eye is anesthetized with drops so that you do not feel any pain during the 15-minute procedure.
This is a decisive advantage of Allotex TransForm™. The implant can be removed easily and without a trace, so that subsequent cataract surgery is possible without any problems or restrictions.
As with any procedure, there are minor risks. A slight sensitivity to glare or a feeling of dryness may occur in the first few days, but these quickly subside. Serious complications are extremely rare due to the biological material and the minimally invasive technique.
Allotex TransForm costs CHF 5’000 per eye. This includes the pre-examination (CHF 300, credited), the procedure, all medication and the follow-up checks of the first three months.
